Events for Everyone: Campout at the Family Aquatic Center

  |     |   Life at the MilTon, Local Events

What’s better than spending a day at the Family Aquatic Center?

Being able to camp out overnight!

When fun events like this happen near The MilTon, we want our residents to know about them. So break out the sleeping bags and tents, because the FAC is having a family campout. Normally only open from 10:15 am to 7 pm on weekends, the Aquatic Center will be open for swimming through the evening with exclusive access to those that are camping.

This is a great way for our residents to meet other people in the community and introduce their kids or friends to sleeping under the stars. No need to travel miles and miles to go camping – the Family Aquatic Center is located here in town at 635 N. Aspen Drive, just a 7-minute drive from home.

The event will take place on July 10th-11th, and will go from 5:30 pm on the 10th until 9 am the next morning.

Besides being able to sleep under the stars and swim as much as you want with people you care about, there will be a campfire complete with s’mores. The event will also feature one of our favorite animated movies, A Bug’s Life, outside in the open air.

On Sunday morning there will be an included continental breakfast.

Aquatic Center Information

As for the pool, it includes two swimming pools, a sandy play area, locker rooms, deck chairs, and vending machines.

Unfortunately, the slides, lazy river, and concession stand are not available this summer due to local restrictions.

Detailed camping information is available after you register on their website, and more information about the event can be found here

The cost of this event is $50 per 6-person campsite.
